Allerton Structural Contractors Limited ensure that all employees receive the necessary training, instruction and information as appropriate, to enable them to carry out their job role in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and Best Practice, as required by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, Regulation 10 (Information for Employees) and 13, (Capability and Training).

This will include regular toolbox talks as well as formal safety training. Records of any training provided will be held on file.

A training need analysis will be determined upon appointment for all new employees. All other employees will have their training needs assessed at yearly intervals or sooner if there is a change to the nature of their work.

All training sessions will be duly recorded on the operative’s personal training record sheet held in their own personal file in the main office. All new entrants receive a full induction course before they commence any work and a permanent training record is kept on each employee.

The company recognises that the induction process and ongoing staff development is key to welcoming and retaining staff to the organisation.

Training needs are identified through the annual appraisal system which identifies individual needs in order for staff to achieve their own personal targets and to ensure that staff is proficient in the competencies identified. We will ensure that all training adds value to Allerton Structural Contractors Limited and that of our clients business.
